I surfed into a new website this morning. Scrapper’s Daily Dose could be very dangerous. Hopefully it’ll give me some new ideas and help keep me motivated.

It’s finally done! I wimped out yesterday, but this morning I got up & went and was back by 9:00am. It’s great. Putting it away might have to wait ’til tomorrow, though, when I’m “chained to the oven.”
Today, I’m off to deliver our Father’s Day gift to my dad and on my way home I’ll stop & visit with various other fun relatives who are camping nearby. If only it were a little warmer… I might go swimming. The sun is out & it’s warm in the sun, but it’s just not warm enough to get me into the pool.
Tomorrow, I’ll be cooking and crafting (and putting away laundry) until Matt gets home from “work” then we’re going to an RCIA-class-reunion picnic. I’m making Glee’s Beans, Betty Crocker’s Scalloped Potatoes and Carrie’s Taco Dip. It’s the most food I’ve ever made at one time, I think. I’ve made the taco dip several times, so I know that’ll be fine, I just hope I do OK with the other two.

This one is for Anne Shirley. Recently, she blogged about how sad it is that we missed some really cute fashion trends. She actually linked to a cute dress that is similar-ish to two that I bought this spring and I told her I had pictures of them, so here they are. They’re not the greatest and they’re not full-length shots, but I’ll work on that. I try to find as many chances as I can to wear them.

Now that I’ve had my exercise for the day & I’m sufficiently tired, it’s time to take a few baby steps.
Matt’s out working today (just some short-term extra cash), so I’m going to dress to my shoes like a good little FlyBaby and head to the laundromat. Before I do that, though, I have to figure out what I’m cooking this weekend & make sure I have everything so that I can stop by the store if necessary. Hopefully I don’t have to go, but I have this feeling there are some things I forgot to tell Matt to get yesterday when he did the shopping.
The other project of the day is cleaning up the filing cabinet. I finally broke down & told Matt to get a plastic filing box as a temporary solution to our over-flowing cabinet. Now, we might actually be able to find our bills & bank statements when we need them!
