Where’s my job!?

I think I might have misplaced my job. I was sure I’d find it yesterday, but it was not under the couch as expected. If anybody can tell me when I’m going to find it, let me know. It’s gotta be around here somewhere…

Missing Matt

I’m sure you’ve noticed that Matt doesn’t blog much. He doesn’t seem to share my interest in this project, which is a shame. He’s really kind of a funny guy (even though I never ever get the jokes in his comics) and I think he’d be really entertaining to read if he would just take the time to write down his silliness & publish it online.

Following the Yellow Brick Road

Matt & I awoke this morning & embarked on a 13 hour journey following the yellow brick (or at least lined) road to Evans City onward to the ‘Frew and then to Butler to see the Wizard and around in circles for a while and finally back home.
It was exhausting. Highlights of the day:
*A mostly full room of CCD students (we were missing one) sitting quietly & working in their books AND with Bibles… LOOKING STUFF UP!!
*The bulletin insert on voting… more on that later, and possibly on the other blog.
*HAM LOAF
*Seeing the “Stock Boys” wearing GREEN LIPSTICK because they were citizens of the Emerald City.
*Purchasing four chances to win a trip to Disney World to see two of my cousins march in the Magic Kingdom.
*Chicken Strips, Oreo Cookies and Dairy Queen Ice Cream.

And now I must prepare for bed.

One Great Way to Start the Weekend

Matt has yet another job interview today. Same company, different position in a different division. Wouldn’t it be great if we could start this weekend off with Matt getting a job? We’d appreciate the prayers!
