311 Days Until the Wedding

I'm currently trying to make this look nice while I'm running a simulation. However, certain elements are not acting as they should be acting. I really don't know why. I'm sorry if this looks bad for awhile.

I recommend having Interrnet Explorer version 5 or later, Netscape 6 or later, Opera 6 or later or pretty much any Gecko-based browser (Mozilla, AOL's borwser, etc).

320 Days Until the Wedding

Benadryl (or however it is spelled) is a wonderful thing.

I hate a bad dream last night involving wasps. Luckily, in the dream world I can outrun a horde of wasps that are out to get me becasue I accidentally bumped into their hives. After that, I jumped into a body of water and hid under a little bridge; I think the octopus helped scare them away.

See, Steve and I were exploring an old run down house, and I commented that it was full of old wasp hives, too. Suddenly, I could look around and the hives were everywhere. There was a giant hive that was about the size of a human. When walking out, I accidentally bumped a small hive and three wasps came out and chased me. While I was running, I bumped into a much bigger hive, and soon there were wasps everywhere. It was scary.

I'm not really sure how this relates to the wedding, but I really needed to share that. Whew.

323 Days Until the Wedding

Today is yet another palindrome!
Yesterday, for reasons still unknown to me, mom went to church. While she was there, she happened to be talking to Rita about our meeting with the caterer. She mentioned that the caterer said we didn't have to use their bar - and Rita was surprised. SOOO we're on the hunt for a caterer. Rita told mom we were allowed to find somebody else :o)

325 Days Until the Wedding

Mom & I met the caterer today. The best news of the whole meeting is that they don't care if Grandma bakes the cake. Mostly, as long as they cater the dinner they're pretty flexible. We will have massive amounts of cookies made by my relatives. It will be entertaining. Now I just need to call the people Kimba suggested to me & call back a few people I wanted to meet before but didn't have the chance to and I think we'll be well under way to finding a photographer & a DJ. Does anyone know any good bar tenders?

331 Days Until the Wedding

It also amazes me how much food costs. I mean, I can feed myself for a week and a half on $90. How come caterers need so much more? ^^

I wouldn't count on the video games. I'll just have to bust out the ancient art of video game finance-fu.

331 Days Until the Wedding

Yesterday, Amanda & I ventured out to Penn Hills together to meet a photographer. Who knew pictures could cost SO much money! We also went up to the Butler Eagle office to pick up the papers for the engagement announcement & wedding announcement. Again - who knew it would cost so much! It's $20 to get the announcement in the Eagle - and another $20 if you want it to go into the weeklies. Matt & I will be poor after this wedding fiasco. But that's ok because at least we'll have had fun. We can handle being poor for a little while... Matt just won't get any new video games for a while :o)

331 Days Until the Wedding.

I'm rather tired. Less than a good amount of sleep for me last night. I discovered this morning that my alarm is insanely loud. I took out the earplugs when I woke up (I have no idea why I did this, to be honest) and thought, "holy crap, what's that terribly loud and screetchy noise!?" I then realised it was my alarm, and I turned it off.

I don't know how Steve manages to /not/ hear the alarm sometimes. His ears must be able to filter out non steve-owned/operated alarms. Maybe he's got secret special cybernetic ear implants that give his ears super powers. Maybe he is secretly... SUPER EAR FILTER MAN!

Okay, so yeah. I'm tired.

340 Days Until the Wedding

Mens Warehouse so far seems the best tux place, incidentally. We went in, because it was next to Tuxedo Junction. The conversation went something like this.

Diddy: Should we go in.

Steve: We can, but we could only buy them, they don't rent.

Matt: Points to "Tuxedo Rental" sign in the window.

Steve: Oh, I guess they do.

Conversation was paraphrased.
