Has anyone noticed that the background of our posts has been MIA on the main page for a while? I could never figure out where it went because it has always worked just fine on the archive pages. Just now, when I posted the scripture verse of the day and reloaded the page, the background came back!!

Former TV GUIDE is changing their format.
It won’t fit in its spot anymore… I might have to cancel my subscription. I’m trying so hard to cut back on unneccessary clutter. I can’t have a magazine without a home. The crossword puzzle will be missed. It’s a shame I’ve never been able to complete one :(
I have recently learned that it is correct to address an envelope to Mr. & Mrs. John Doe even if the wife kept her maiden name. In that situation, “Mrs.” would imply “wife of John Doe.” As in, Mr. and the wife of John Doe, which I realize looks weird when written that way, but you get the idea.
It’s finally done! I wimped out yesterday, but this morning I got up & went and was back by 9:00am. It’s great. Putting it away might have to wait ’til tomorrow, though, when I’m “chained to the oven.”
Today, I’m off to deliver our Father’s Day gift to my dad and on my way home I’ll stop & visit with various other fun relatives who are camping nearby. If only it were a little warmer… I might go swimming. The sun is out & it’s warm in the sun, but it’s just not warm enough to get me into the pool.
Tomorrow, I’ll be cooking and crafting (and putting away laundry) until Matt gets home from “work” then we’re going to an RCIA-class-reunion picnic. I’m making Glee’s Beans, Betty Crocker’s Scalloped Potatoes and Carrie’s Taco Dip. It’s the most food I’ve ever made at one time, I think. I’ve made the taco dip several times, so I know that’ll be fine, I just hope I do OK with the other two.
