Die Buchwalds

Now that I’ve had my exercise for the day & I’m sufficiently tired, it’s time to take a few baby steps.
Matt’s out working today (just some short-term extra cash), so I’m going to dress to my shoes like a good little FlyBaby and head to the laundromat. Before I do that, though, I have to figure out what I’m cooking this weekend & make sure I have everything so that I can stop by the store if necessary. Hopefully I don’t have to go, but I have this feeling there are some things I forgot to tell Matt to get yesterday when he did the shopping.
The other project of the day is cleaning up the filing cabinet. I finally broke down & told Matt to get a plastic filing box as a temporary solution to our over-flowing cabinet. Now, we might actually be able to find our bills & bank statements when we need them!

Welcome to the New & Improved Die Buchwalds blog. WordPress is fun. Hopefully it won’t take too long for us to get the old stuff archived into categories. In the mean time, I’m taking suggestions and tips on using this new blogging software if anybody wants to share.

After nearly a year of marriage, we are still very messy people. In all my web-surfing adventures, I found myself at Flylady.net. The site offers a method of household cleaning and organization, with reminders that come in my email. Yep, that’s right folks, a cleaning system for the computer addicted. I’m so excited. The trick, of course, is to get started and stick with it. I’m going to try very very hard. The thing about Flylady, though, is that it looks like it would work better if I were staying home all day… so the options are that either (1)Matt needs to get a job, or (2)he needs to be the active Flylady participant. I just really don’t see option number 2 working out, so let’s double up on the “Matt Needs a Job” prayers.

I’d like to call your attention to the links on the side of the blog, particularly the one called “Pictures.”
Click it and you will be directed to our online photo gallery. I finally got around to developing some film and got everything uploaded, so now there’s more than just wedding pictures.
